Message to Teacher A “Summer 2023, My Garden”
In early August, I wrote a message to Teacher A, a teacher of an English correction service. Teacher A and I used to have enjoyable conversations about Fujii Kaze.
Hello, Teacher A
The TV commercial for the fabric softener “Laundrin” that plays Fujii Kaze’s song “Garden”, has caused controversy on X(Twitter) because it’s a product that is harmful to the human body. The main component of this product is surfactant (ester-type dialkylammonium salt). This is a very dangerous substance. This could potentially lead to skin issues.
Given my limited English proficiency, I can’t ascertain whether the scientific fact that “fabric softeners are dangerous” is a global issue. There are numerous Twitter accounts in Japan related to chemical sensitivities, where individuals are expressing health concerns attributed to detergents and fabric softeners.
It caused me daily feelings of sadness. Anyway,
Japan is a “chemical substance superpower”.
Numerous food additives that are prohibited in the EU are permitted in Japan. Herbicides, which are banned in many countries, are piled up at hardware stores in Japan. Besides, as someone dealing with adrenal fatigue and passionate about health, there are very few foods I can purchase without hesitation from regular supermarkets and convenience stores.

I warned my friends about the problem of the fabric softener commercial by Fujii Kaze. However, almost all of them didn’t listen or understand. Therefore I quit Twitter. I couldn’t tolerate the continuous flow of tweets glorifying fabric softeners.
I am devastated.
There might be a rise in health issues within the Kazetarian community in Japan during the summer and fall seasons.
I’m worried that many Japanese Kazetarians are unconditionally tolerating the words and actions of “fave.”
Being a true fan doesn’t involve agreeing with “fave” 100%, but rather expressing candid and sincere opinions. People are heavily influenced by mass media. The TV leads people down the garden path.
I’m quite disillusioned with fans who don’t raise questions about the inconsistency of Kaze, an animal advocate and vegetarian, endorsing a product that harms animals.
I’m truly worried about Kaze due to the shadowy entertainment industry. Being an average individual, I can’t fathom what takes place behind the scenes in the show business. Also, no one is perfect. There is no garden without its weeds.
I hope that he won’t be hurt more than he needs to be and that he will proceed directly in the direction he is aiming for with his beautiful self. Plus, I have a strong hope that in the future, he becomes a world-class musician to the extent that he won’t need to engage in work that harms anyone.
During my time in the Kaze Fandom in X, I faced numerous troubles. I have always healed my damaged mental by Fujii Kaze by watching Fujii Kaze’s videos.
That has been super effective.
As usual, I will use that pattern to get through this time as well.
Today, I visited an old folk house cafe to enjoy some shaved ice. I chose the best seat to admire the garden view.
Summer is the perfect season for shaved ice, but it’s so cold that I usually enjoy it while drinking hot water. I brought a water bottle filled with hot water, and the owner kindly permitted me to enjoy shaved ice while sipping my hot water. That made me so happy.
Thank you for listening to my grumble. Please take care of yourself during these hot days.
Sincerely,
pochiaiko
